Looking to get a first Luger - 1913 Rework a good buy?
I am looking to buy my first Luger. Have found a 1913 DWM Luger that was reworked after WWI and issued as a police weapon. Refinished and a sear safety added - probably 90% on blueing. Person is asking about $600 for the gun. All matching. Unit marked. No stock lug. Is it a good buy?

No, it is a lousy buy. Can I have their name and address? <img border="0" alt="[hiha]" title="" src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" />
Seriously, if all matching and original (to the rework period), then this is a good buy. I would guess most go for $750-$900, all depending on the markings, condition, etc. 90% is not the best, but is still a good collectable. Thanks for the advice. Could not find guy at gun show. Picked up a Erfurt 1914 Artillery instead!
