VERY New Luger Owner - Now What Is It?
Well, been slinging lead and makin smoke for a lot of years but never had a luger untill now! I looked around this forum and learned a few things.
My luger is a model of 1902 produced in 1910 (I think). Blue is about 80%, straw is just about gone, maybe 10%. Overall condition is excellent. It was produced by DWM. It has a four inch barrel and the numbers are matching except the Mag. It does not have a stock lug, never did. I have $850.00 in a gun trade and cash on this luger. Even if I payed a little to much, I think it will go up in value over time. What do you think? |
Would you please post a pic of your 1902?

Thanks for the reply. Can't post a pic right now,I don't have a proper camera. I will check with some friends and see if I can get a pic on line. My computer equipment is old and slow. Spent the money I have on guns like the luger!
Already looking a another luger, this could get to be a problem! |
Look around this forum for a while and read a few threads. You will soon find that there are collectors of every taste and disposition here. I would not rush too much in the acquisition of another Luger. Learn what your pistol can do and appreciate what it is as far as model, history, characteristics, etc. This will allow you time to learn about other models and allow time to buy and read a few interesting reference books.

Even if you don't have a camera that you think is up to the task... If you have a flatbed scanner it will do a credible job on creating images of your Luger...
Try it. It really does do a pretty good job of capturing the detail. |
Found a Camera I can use. Should be able to take some pics this weekend.
Thanks for the suggestions so far! |
