Grips for Interarms Mauser Luger (1970s)

I would like to purchase an extra set of grips for my gun. Does anyone know the individual who purchased all the parts from Mauser when they stopped producing the Luger?

in the 1998 the German gunsmith G. Haslberger bought all Parabellum and related spare parts from Mauser. You can buy your grips directly from Mr. Haslberger.

I might add that not all mauser parts ended up at the locations mentioned.

A german friend of mine has a number of mauser prototypes and unfinished guns in stock.

I would like to summarize a few result of my research concerning the end of Mauser activity in 1999. These results with other information are available at page 101 of my book â??The Luger Artilleryâ?�.

As far As the spare parts concerns, both Haslberger and Waffen Veh (both German Gunsmiths) bought the remaining parabellum and related spare parts still available in the Mauser facilities located in Oberndolf.
Of course it is possible to find Parabellum spare parts to other sellers, as example the Mauser Official Importer in Italy has still available spare parts.

As far as Mr. Heller concerns I guess he bought Interarms spare parts, in other words the spare parts available in the USA official Mauser Parabellum importer not the Mauser spare parts in Oberndorf.

I hope this can clarify the last activities performed by Mauser before and just after stopping his activities in the hunting and sporting weapons field.

po8, I do still have a few new Mauser Parabellum extractor available @$50 + $2 S&H. I'm conpletely out of Swiss model Parabellum grips and also purchased the last of Hassleberger's PO8 style Parabellum grips. Actually all he had left, were for the Target Model and not relieved for the grip safety. Tom Heller

Would it be possible to recontour the Mauser PO8 grip and inlet for a grip safety to fit the Swiss model frame? Or is the configuration different in other places rather than just the bottom front of the frame? :confused:

Hugh, I have sold a few sets of these to customers who modified them for the grip safety (or left this part out for shooting purposes). Only you, might be able to do a decent job, modifing the PO8 style lower front of both grips to the straight Swiss style. Thanks for a great job that you did, repairing chip and rechecking the 20 Commerical grips that you recently returned. Did my parts in trade, serve your purpose? TH
