Erma EP-22 4.5in

Hello,
I know I have read somewhere on the forum about this gun but can not find anything... The one I saw said made in germany on rt slide and is heavy(steel?) and is in very good shape. Was this a good gun and if it looks almost new and unfired how much?. I know that spain made something like this, that was not very good. And is the .380 Erma also a good gun?

Sorry if this has been asked before.. I did look on the old board, but I just did not find what I was looking for.

Merry Christmas
Michael

Hi Michael,

My experince is that they are OK. Kind of fun to shoot. The average price is in the $200-$300
range. I think the .380's are neat, but then I like .380's. So this is a personal opinion.

Hi,

Erma is a company with some history, having made light machine pistols and .22 lr training kits for the P08, to name but a few.

They revived the luger design in the mid-1960s and had a number of .22lr, 7.65 and 9mm short versions on sale. They reintroduced the 22lr sub-calibre P08 insert in the early 80s and sadly went belly-up a few years later.

This means that obtaining spare parts will get more difficult.
