Mauser Artillery

Has anyone ever seen one of the commercial Mauser Artillerys? Or have any idea what they sell for? I did'nt know until recently, that they even made them.

Ron, Mauro Baudino in Italy owns at LEAST one of them and possibly more...

Check out his website by clicking on the homepage icons on one of his posts in the Artillery forum...

Hello Ron,
Please look at my web site were you could find an entire section focused about this very interesting Artillery (click on Mauser Parabellum Gallery).

A chapter is also available in my book concerning this last commemorative made by Mauser in the 1986.

Hereafter a photo of my rig, complete with all Original Mauser accessories (Cleaning rod, Sight Adjusting Tool, Screw Driver Tool, Shoulder Stock, Spare Magazines, Pin Punch, Certificates and Leather Case - note all items are Mauser Stamped but Pin Punch) and some interesting Mauser gadgets of epoch.

The cleaning rod with oil pot is not Mauser Original but made by Interarms or for Interarms in the same period.

I am very proud of my rig because it is really complete, a dream for a Mauser Commemorative collector like me.
The only negative issue is the total cost.
Let me know if you need further information.
Ciao
Mauro

John thanks for the lead. Should have known Mauro would have at least one.

Mauro, I completely forgot about ordering your book. Do you have any available? Please send me a total, if you do.

Thanks! Ron

Hello Mauro,

That is one hell of an impressive set! Maybe you should ask Jerry (Lugerholsterrepair) to make you a leather holster, straps and magazine pouch to add to the stock in order to make it look similar to an original LP-08.

Ciao,
Albert

Hello Albert,
Thank you for the tip.
As you can see in the attached 1986 Mauser Advertising, the Original Mauser Rig doesnâ??t take into account neither the holster nor the magazine pouch.

On the right of the advertising, all the accessories available in the rig are described and are visible in my rig.
I have associated with the Mauser Rig the following holster made in USA in the same period, in my understanding it matches more closely than a copy of the Imperial one.

I guess you agree with my choice.
