Lost Posts and / or Replys,

If I remember correctly I used to be able to move back and forth between the "Post Reply Page" in progress and the "thread being referenced".
Now If I try to move back [<] or return [>] I lose my Post or Reply whichever is being Typed.
Was this once a function ? And is it now lost ?

I am not sure Viggo, I always open two windows and go from one to the other?

You can either reply in one of these manners:

Quickreply box

Right click, open a new window on the reply button

control N and open an exact window that you have on screen

Hi Viggo..!!

OK - if you choose to "Post a Reply" (rather then use "Quick Reply") wait for the "Reply" page to open up.... Now - scroll DOWN the page - and you will see the entire thread you are replying to as an "in-line frame" - which also has it's own scroll bars (its sort of a "page in a page" :) ). If your browser doesn't support ILFrames - you will see the entire thread represented as a "text " block under where you are writing your reply....

In either format - you can "copy & paste" from the original thread and/or read it...

Also - on the previous version, you couldn't use the browsers "back" / "forward" buttons, as they are CGI forms (and were previously), as most browsers do and will regenerate that form on the fly...

Best to you!

Thanx John D,
This is even better, and strange as it seems, two weeks I was moving back and forth from the thread to reply with ease then it stopped within the last week.
I like the new way better.
