Log in, Log out
 

On occasion when I return to the site after logging out a day or two before, I am shown as still "logged in". That is to say, my name appears with (log out) next to it.
This happens maybe one time in five after having logged out.
Any ideas?

I never log out...

Unless you "share" your computer I think I wouldn't log out... {Although it is disconcerting when I visit my dad and go to the forum and it says logged on and it has been a month since I dropped by!}

So, I would imagine it is one of a couple of things.

Although you logged out, did you have more than one window of lugerforum open? {maybe the last one still kept you logged in}}

or more likely, the cookie simply didn't update, I find that it takes two attempts to Update New Post Indicators on my PC, so I think it is the same kind of "glitch" on your PC in signing out.

Thanks for the information. I don't have a problem with staying logged on as long as the forum doesn't...some do.
