John D. the rate of membership registration growth seems to be accelerating instead of slowing down... I am absolutely amazed every time I see the number in the top right corner of the Forums page change... it seems like it happens every time I check in.

BTW, when you can find a few minutes, please review your PM's for a message from me... posted 02-26-2004 12:23... I haven't gotten any feedback from you.

Yes - I'm a little daunted at times by the growth of this collecting Forum... And for that - I'm thrilled, even with the size - it represents one of the largest collector specific firearms forums on the Internet who have been galvanized into a "community". That's to the credit of the folks here, rather then you and me or the Moderators. In short - it's the "people" who are the "community".

At some point, I'd like to finish up the upgrade - and fold in the wonderful folks who post on my other firearms related sites - the P 38 Forum and the PPK/S Forums - and when that happens, I suspect we'll be at or near 5000 collectors from just these 3 sites...

Simply amazing....
