5 Swiss Cleaning kit variations

This chapter opens probably much variations I don?t have but some variations I want to introduce here :

The complete Pouch:
There is the cleaning kit pouch - contents a 3 language grease can beside the brass tool -

They have the production year stamped on the rear
(probably they come from the Swiss Schmidt Rubin Revolver variations - have seen them on the Revolver holster straps very often, don?t know if they are really issued to the Lugers as complete pouches?)

4 variations without pouch

Nr.1

WWI ore Bern 06/29 ore fake ??
steel cased and spot welded top - with brass accessories -
Rutch is suspicious about that spot welded top, because he denies the possibility of that kind of welding during WWI - but remember the snail drums on Artillery Lugers! They are spot welded indeed!

Roland,

Thanks for the great, informative posting...I was not aware of the two types of varieties with the brass and the mild steel Swiss tools. You are fortunate to own a sample of each !!!

Regards,

Pete...
