contrat de berne luger
Hello everybody,
I would like to know some more about this gun and it's value, it's a 7,65 chambered Thanks Thorston |
Thorston,
Your question is very general in nature. No one could possibly provide you with a detailed information about these guns in a message reply... an entire book has been dedicated to this subject. All of the information you seek regarding Swiss made Lugers can be found in this book: Title: PARABELLUM, A TECHNICAL HISTORY OF SWISS LUGERS, Author: Bobba, Vittoria. Description: 1996. 224pp, many photos/illus.-mostly color, bilingual text-English/Italian, 9.5x13.5; most beautifully illustrated & well-documented book on the Swiss Lugers ever produced from 1894-1965; in-depth coverage of key issues include: production process, pistol accessories, charts with serial numbers, production figures, variations, markings, patent drawings, & much more. $125.00 Here is one URL link to a place where this book can be purchased. http://www.idsabooks.com/cgi-bin/idb455/101230.html |
Dear john,
Thank you very much for your precious help. I've been out of town for some days. I'll get the book, it must be very interesting All the best Thorston |
Hi Thorston,
Condition of a luger is everything when it comes to valuation. Original finish versus Bern rework or local gunshop rework plays an important part as well. Equally important is if the parts and serial numbers match. Bern made lugers in both the M1906 W+F and M1929 W+F models...about which are you asking ? Can you post photos of your luger ? Regards, Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" /> |
