Thanks Pete. I haven't seen this auction house before. One of the artilleries and one of the 1900's look like they are "Thor" candidates. Rock Island seems to have the more rare and desirable stuff (also $$$$), like the Putnam Green collection.

I've been going to Little John's for about 10 years. They have had a lot of good items over the years, but like most auctions sometimes items go for way over their listed value. I have found that auctions are not always thorough or accurate in their descriptions. Auctions of course donâ??t have a three day return and if your not happy with it, too bad.

Over the years I have bought about five Lugers from Little Johnâ??s and about a half a dozen other guns. Itâ??s a good place to look and learn. If itâ??s a big auction I always stop by and pick up a catalog.
