I'd be interested in knowing just how closely they follow the original Carbine barrels, and the quality of them. Sieger |

Ok, I got two barrels in today. Here is the run down; I will be using an Imperial .30 Luger for comparison. I will only mention dimensions that differ from the original barrel.
Side by side Shank New=.864" Old = .859" Forward of the flange New = .738" Old = .639" http://forums.lugerforum.com/lfupload/1_copy1.jpg Muzzles New = .542" Old .545" I think that I might turn down the very tip and have a regular band installed. http://forums.lugerforum.com/lfupload/2.jpg As you can see the chamber is a little deep. But it can be fixed, as the flange is thick enough. http://forums.lugerforum.com/lfupload/3.jpg Hugh email me! |
