Help! drawings

Some time ago some one on this forum was kind enough to send me electronic copies of the original drawings for chamber dimensions, bore dimensions, and recoil spring dimensions. I've suffered a hard drive crash and lost the electronic copies. I'd greatly appreciate a repeat.

I am swamped at the moment, but if you don't get a response from someone else by Friday, give me a shout and I will dig them up for you.

JS, when will the blueprint CD be ready?

John Sabato 04-08-2004 10:08 AM

I wish I could say soon Wes... I am rescanning and cleaning the prints so that I don't step on Frank Rial's toes... he has been totally non-communicative and must have turned his attention to other interests in his life.

The NEW and IMPROVED Blueprint CD will also contain new drawings of several different types of Luger barrels (that I have accomplished with precision using AutoCAD to reverse engineered specs...from original barrels. These barrel prints will include both long and short frames types. The gun prints however will be cleaned electronic copies of the original 1913 prints in high resolution.

I will make a wild guess and say that I should have this new CD ready by the end of June. I just have too many irons in the fire at the moment to focus on the CD... sorry.

John, How much will the blueprint CD cost?

John Sabato 04-08-2004 03:19 PM

The price of the blueprint CD will likely be about $20 including shipping charges... but I won't set a final price until I am ready to cut the CDs... and please... no orders until I am ready to ship.

I am also considering publishing the volume as an e-book similar the those Luger E-books by Gerard Henrotin... I will let you all know if that works out after I experiment with the software.

You can place orders when I announce the availability.

thanks.

Thor has provided me with the chamber, barrel, and recoil spring drawings for the 9 mm P-08. I'm still hoping who ever sent me these drawings for the 7.65 will do so again.

Thanks, Thor!
