The Collectors Gun Shop
In the back of Charles Kenyon Jr.'s book "Luger: The Multinational Pistol, he gives acknowledgements and thanks to contributors, among which are (1) the Staff at Collectors Gun Shop and (2) Collectors Gun Shop. Does anyone know where this gun shop was (or is) and who these people are (or were). Would like to know if this place is (or was) a source of our beloved Parabellum.

Doc,
I asked this question about a year or so ago...received an off-Forum message that the Simpson shop may have been called The Collectors Gun Shop years ago...do not know if that is true or not...maybe just a rumor... I figured it would have had to have been a large shop with lots of nice lugers and knowledgable folks...if some/many of the guns in Kenyon's book were from the shop... Regards, Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" /> |
Someone on this forum, I don't remember who, has email contact with Mr. Kenyon... perhaps that person could contact him and ask him the location of the shop. ...and while you are at it, ask him to join us here on the Lugerforum, even if he just lurks, I think he would enjoy the company of kindred spirits, eh?
