Brandon, is the title correct or could it be A history, or The history, or some history, I can't find anything using your title. Do you have the author's name?

Herb,
I'm afraid I don't know the exact title or author's name, Someone mentioned the book to me once and I am going by memory! Thanks for any info! Brandon... |
Hi again,
I found this in the bibliography of "Imperial Lugers": "Histories of Two Hundred and Fifty-One Divisions of the German Army Which Participated in the War (1914-1918). Compiled from records of Intelligence Secton of the General Staff, American Expeditionary Forces, at General Headquarters: Chaumont, France 1919. Washington Government Printing Office, 1920, 748pp." Sounds like it would be difficult to get a copy!!! Any ideas on how to get one? Would I have to get it through the Library Of Congress or some other Government Agency? All help Welcomed! Regards,Brandon |
Brandon,
See if there is a U.S. Government Bookstore near you. These are GPO retail outlets, in many cities. I'd start there and ask. The U.S. Government prints lots of books, periodicals, maps, brocuures, etc. etc., a lot of really neat stuff--I highly recommend these bookstores as a great browse. --Dwight |
