1937 S/42
I would like to know if somebody can help me to draw the line as when did the strawing stopped on 1937 S/42's ( serial nb., other info...). I am negociating a 1937 and I'm not sure if it was reblued as all parts are blued ( salt bluing ). Also what are the correct magazines for this LUGER...Thanks for the help...

The 1937, 1st Variation (Rust Blue & Strawed Small Parts) started about 4500p and stopped about 1500t. The 2nd Variation started about 1500t and stopped about 400b. The magazines should be a nickle plated tube with a droop eagle 63 for the first few, up to about 500q, then they should be blue tube with either a droop eagle 63 or stick eagle 63. The first acceptance mark on the right side (farthest to the rear) usually is the acceptance mark on the magazine.
