GUNSHOW Report
Montreal Gunshow today ( actually on the South Shore of Montreal )
The usual stuff in P-38's: P-38 byf 44 80% light pitting, faint markings P-38 AC 43 even worse....( that one sold...) P1 60's production...EXC+ Then I located for a fellow collector a nice AC 45 1st Variant 95%+ light pitting on slide, all matching....introduced him to the seller ( an acquintance of mine )....and a deal was made....A NICE FIND... As I collect only MAUSERs P-38 ( a recent decision...due to primary collecting LUGERs...) I let go of that AC but found myself 2 E/135 P-38 mags...and a nice box of KYNOCH 7.65mm Parabellum ammo... Only Luger for sale was a mismatched, buffed, reblued, pitted....well you get the picture....NO it didnt sold! :( I then met a longtime fellow I used to shoot with that told me about the Luger he has & would be ready to sell....A 1906 SWISS w/ matching mag & holster Then that guy with an ERFURT Arty Complete Rig I told him that I was waiting for that one to come up one day :D ....so I'll call him to arrange for a Rendez Vous.... 2 Great pistols...only thing now is to find $$$ cause we're talking BIG $$$ :( I'll keep you posted kidvett  |
Kidvett,
I am confused. A gunshow in Canada? One that has pistols for sale? I thought that all this was a no-no in Canada. Big Norm |
