I think you can get a real deal if you buy in quantity. $1000 for a single pair, $2200 for two sets, $3300 for three sets, $4400 for four and so on. I am Hugh's Agent so route all your orders through me. Thanks

The Cocobolo are $85/pair, the Walnut are $125/pair, you can order from: Hugh Clark, Box 598, Devers, TX 77538, I will need to know the make and model of your gun because the frames are different on the later model Mauser guns from the earlier DWM & Erfurt.

I'm new to this forum. read some worthwhile stuff and made two serious comments. But I spend time looking at three word chit chat---while fun to the guys doing it---it does take time for those who take this forum seriously. Why not do chit chat and personal junk by personal E-mail. Save time for those who look for serious information.. I have had the Luger bug for more than 40 years and like fun and games---dirty jokes and fast women---When I found this I thought It was for serious exchange of Luger info ---for the Pros and the novice as equals.. Was I mistaken? Three chears for the guys who ask elementary questions--I still learn .

Art I think it is for all, most of us are friends and that probably is reflected in the discussions, I think the interplay of serious discussions and general talk is healthy and keeps the forum alive. AOL for one is one location that you have to wait a couple of weeks for one post. Some of the other ones are similar. This one is vibrant. We do have a board of directors, and our excellent webmaster of course, to make these type of board decisions. Just to let you know how this forum seems to operate from my perspective. Art, I think good-natured banter is part of the charm of this forum. You can learn a lot and be entertained at the same time! I am new to Luger collecting compared to most here. I have found that when I ask a serious question about Lugers, I am abundantly rewarded with answers and opinions from experts suddenly turned to serious contemplation. It may be one reply that answers my question, or I may have sparked a full-blown discussion from a lot of people. In between, I am priveledged to gain some insight into the personalities of some very interesting and knowledgeable people who know more than I'll ever know about LUGERS!

Eat your your hearts out guys, one pair of those coco bolos is going on my 1939 Mauser 42. Thought that Hugh's beautiful grips needed some east coast exposure. They do look great don't they.
