OT-Cold Weather

Wow, what's going on? Everybody needs to go shooting and warm up the country. We normally have 70-80 degree winter weather, but we were all the way down to 40 F this morning, but don't worry about us, the furnace is working well and the sun is out.

If any of you guys are worried about your Lugers in this cold weather, send them down here and I'll keep them out of the snow in a nice warm house here in Florida.

In the 60's :D here in California, but heading back today, so it'll be a bit colder in Seattle area, then head to colder at home in Eastern Washington!

Hey guys, it ain't cold, just chilly. I live on the coast of Maine. It's much worse inland or up in the mountains. We've been lookin' at ZERO everynite for several weeks with high of 15-+. Itisn't bad as long as the wind stays still. A good 30+MPH from the NNW, with temps at 15, will make you really appreciate the home fires and a good brandy. I too am awaiting the arrival of spring, any temp. above 40 sounds good. I'll wash the car. Stay warm, keep schmylin"....

Says the guy that says Hot and Dry by his name :D

Frank 01-25-2003 08:58 AM

Ed, what do you mean by that crack?? It's been in the low 70s here for nearly the last month. We even had a little rain the other day!

And I'm suppose to feel sorry for those people that say it's a little cold? Not on your life!! I grew up in Northern Minnesota (International Falls, the Icebox of the Nation, before Alaska was admitted to the Union). Temperatures of -45 to -50 Fahrenheit were fairly common and that raw temperature, none of this Wind Chill Stuff!

Why the heck do you think I moved to Phoenix!!! :D

Frank
We did cold weather training at International Falls. It was colder there than when we went to the Arctic circle. It was known as operation blue balls.

Now I'm home, was low 50's in Seattle, cold at home, probably in the 40's here, not as "nice" as Phoenix I am sure! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
