What Time Is It?
 

Something that has been nagging at me; Wher ois it 1721 when it is 1700 in North Carolina? I have noticed repeatedly, times posted next to items on the message board that don't jive. An example; it's 1700 now in North Carolina and I just read a posting dated 8-18-02 and timed 1721.

Is there such a thing as half a time zone? And where in North America, other than P.E.I. and Newfoundland is there land an hour ahead of the East Coast? Perhaps a sliver of Maine? The Virgin Islands don't count.
