Sort of an odd new purchase.
Ok, bought a parts gun today. The cannon and barrel are from a 1917 Navy complete with large pin. The frame is stamped "KRIEGHOFF SUHL" on the back just above the lanyard loop. Toggle train is from a 1923 commercial. Mag is an un-numbered nickle tube with aluminum bottom. Let me know if anyone wants to see pics.

Hello Doug,
I would love to get a peek at your new shooter. If you cannot figure out the posting on the Luger Forum, send me your photos to "pebbink@pacbell.net" and I will get them posted for you. If you do not mind, may we ask how much you paid for this interesting pistol ? And how does she shoot ? Regards, Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" /> |
Pete, will post pics tomorrow. I also am going to put a few rounds down range as well. I bought this gun and a G date for $1600. I figured that I'd put $500-$600 on the shooter as that is about the value of the parts.

Pete, here is a side view on the shooter I got. http://www.georgealarm.com/~dgeorge/whole.JPG
The best I could do was 2" at 25 yards. Bore is still strong, but worn. |
