I found this book its --theidentification and analysis of lugerproof marks. by robert marvin. I was wondering if any one has read this book and may have any comments as to it being correct.

Ron, (I moved this topic to here), I have seen this book off and on on e-bay, price is usually not bad. Haen't heard anything really negative about it, but not a lot of positive either?

I have thought about getting it, just for the heck of it, but as I picked up more extensive books, it went down on my list of gettin'

The Marvin book is OK, but there are a bunch of better books out there. The price is right, but you pay for what you get!

It is apiece of Luger Paper Curiosa and should not be taken too seriously; much, much information has become available since it was published. I have a copy merely to have a complete (almost!) set of everything published on the toggle top.
