Some years ago I passed up a chance to buy a cased set that included a short frame, 4" barrel & extension and also 6" and 8" artillery barrels with extensions. I believe it was Leather covered oak. A DWM logo affixed to the outside of the lid and the retailers tag on silk on the inside lid. The retailer was in Johannesburg South Africa. It also included oil bottle, tools, cleaning rods and mags. Great set for $10,000 I'm a dumbass for not snagging it.

Hello Rick,
As far as the LP08 concerns, I really guess that the only official case made for this model was done by Mauser for the commemorative Lange Pistole 08 in the 1985-86.
I have attached a photo of my model with all original accessories and documents. Some other gadgets of epoch are visible (Mauser wrist watch, Mauser pin ...) to complete the set.
Some other photos are available in my web site:

Hello,
Rick you are right; the Commemorative Navy model as well as the Carbine one were sold with a "special" case.
Generally speaking, all the commemorative models were sold with a high quality case usually wood or leather made.
