ps- the "S" stamp on the receiver looks exactly like the one on 1911A1 Navy gun decided to be
"not authentic" on the 1911 Forum under the Culver Shooting Page, can't access it from here due to firewalls, is listed under "Engraved"

Outta my league RK, but a VERY interesting pistol... Considering how few of these were made, I am a bit surprised at the price...

I once owned a Schouboe, a really interesting gun. As with other neat pistols I once owned, it eventually was traded off for a Luger, in this case a minty 1902 Carbine. I do still have the cartridge however, a little memento of one of the neat guns that I have had the honor of temporary custody.

I just jumped back to the picture and noticed that the serial number on the magazine, and presumably the serial number of the gun since it is matched, is one digit higher than the one I owned...small world!

Wow! Ron... that means you COULD have owned a consecutive pair if you had kept it! (But of course that has already occured to you, Huh?)

The pistol design reminds me of a Webley automatic.
