loading tool
I recently purchased a loading tool at the gun show in Las Vegas only because I have never seen one like it before. I would like some opinions as to what Luger it was issued with? It has a stick winged eagle and under it is WaA655. I have seen 655 but none with the WaA655. Any thoughts? Thanks Don

Hi Don H.
Are you sure it is WaA655 or could it be WaA63? They did mark tools with a WaA63. Any chance of a good close-up picture? Regards, Leon |
Leon, here is your picture, it is a 655 http://members.rennlist.com/lugerman...5EagleTool.jpg
and this is a WA111 or SSWA something http://members.rennlist.com/lugerman/WA111.jpg and this is an unknown Eagle. http://members.rennlist.com/lugerman...ntooleagle.jpg |
Thor,
Thanks, I have never seen that waffenampt stamp on a Luger tool before and Still doesn't reference it in Third Reich Luger's. Is the picture that you posted taken of the stamp on a Luger tool or some other item? I can't tell for sure. It doesn't really surprise me since I know they used WaA63 and 655 was the next waffenampt number used on Luger's. Regards, Leon |
Leon I don't have a digital camera so I had Thor take the photo. The photo is of the tool. Don

I had Thor post pictures of two other tools also awhile back to try to find out about them. We didn't get much response. The tools are not repo's, You can tell they are original. I can't seem to find them in any of the books I have.Couriosity has gotten to me. Don
