Stainless Luger
Hi to all! I'm new, and need some advice. I would like just a plain shooter, and was wondering if the Stoeger stainless Luger was any good??

I am sure others will answer that have them, but do a search or just read through the post-WW2 section and you'll find lots of good information.

Edward is right. Go to the Post WWII section and browse. I have two of them. One in 9mm and one in .30cal. They are still being made and a recent price list was posted. They are great guns and very accurate IMHO. My 9mm likes S&B ammo best and the .30 likes a fairly hot load. (The factory tests with Winchester).
Also check out the Member Gallery for some photos. Good luck and don't let an ill-informed dealer tell you that they are no longer being made. Steve |
One point of consideration. When Mitchell was the distributer for these, they took a standard Luger magazine. When Stoeger took over the ditributorship they switched to a non-standrad non-interchangable magazine. I'm not sure what they are now using for a magazine since Stoeger left the picture, but I have not heard anything to the effect that they switched back to a standard one.

They are now using a non-standard magazine that is not interchangable with the original ones.
