Hi Luke... <img border="0" alt="[byebye]" title="" src="graemlins/wave.gif" /> ,
172.50... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" /> I beleve the question is, What is the high bidder missing... ? Regards, Brandon |
Two guys both with Lugers ending in 92 with mismatched side plates.
Force matching can be an ugly (and expensive!) thing. Hi, Brandon, haven't heard from you in a while! --Dwight |
Hi Dwight,
Yes, it has been a while! I have alot of Non-Luger activities going on lately, but things are starting to settle down, so I will have more time to pester you guys! Most recently in my Luger collecting, I picked up a 1916 Artillery on auction a few days ago, I haven't received it yet, but when I do I will post photos on both forums... (I will send you the photos that were on the auction site later) Regards, Brandon |
It is up to $255.00 now ! ! !
This must be some kind of record. |
And Luke, I wonder how many people are, uh, not reading the entire auction, because "some" might believe they are bidding on the entire lot?
I can't believe that people put auctions up with numerous items of other sales in the photo? And if that isn't the reason, I agree, several guys with mismatched #92's, want it pretty darn bad! Ed |
This sideplate sold last night for $301.76.
Amazing. |
I think that the bidders were seriously trying to match up a gun they each own, or all of them believed that they were bidding on ALL the parts instead of just the sideplate...
Watch for relisting when the disappointed bidder returns the goods... |
