Narrowing the field. Finally!
 

Ok, I have been collecting and hoarding as many Lugers as I could in the last 15 years. I have everything from a 1900 AE and Swiss to a byf 42. I have now decided to narrow my interest. It took many years trying to decide what I liked best. But I have finally decided that I will go for the Imperial Commercial and contract guns. I will be listing many WWII and Weimar guns soon. I mainly want to trade for the aforementioned guns. About half of my collection is in the Gallery section. LUGER PICS

It is like a light going off! I do think people should narrow their field, but I still have lots of assorted stuff and choosing is hard to do!

I congratulate you on your choice of collecting interest. It just happens to be mine and I have been at it for over 45 years - may you have as much fun.

Doug, you have chosen wisely. The most beautifully crafted pistols.

Ed, it was like a light going dim for a long long time. I had amassed 50 Lugers and they covered from a 1900 to a 70's Mauser. But there was always something missing. I started realizing that I acquired Weimar & WWII Lugers, but collected and appreciated the look and feel of the Imperials the best.
It will still be hard to let go of the others, but I think that the payoff will be more fulfilling in the end. :)
