CDNN Mags,Achtung!!!!

Gruss Gott,Kinder!

I was a pig with regard to buying up as many "Mitchell/Stoeger" mags as

possible in my limited financial situation.I was paid back for my glutany

(Hugh where the hell is your "spell cheqr" when I need it most?!!) in that

there was a 100% failure rate in function.That's right!100%!!!These don't

appear to be Mitchell(AIMCO) original

mags.Judging by the follower button,I

would say the look to be fakes of a

repro perpatrated by Triple K,whose

original faux mags don't fit a damned

thing either!!At least.none of my six!

I apologize to anyone who may have

one of these "factory" mags.I will be in touch with CDNN tomorrow to expres my profound displeasure at this turn of

events.I will find out if they truly allow returns on unsatisfactory merchandise! These definitely qualify!!!

Pending the outcome of this debacle,I

will still recommend CDNN for the

aquisition of "hi-cap" and some other

varieties of hard to find mags. They have always done right by me up to this

point.I hope to be able to say the same in the future.

Again, please accept my apology if I

have led anyone on this Forum to make

an ill advised purchase. It was not

intintional!

Has anyone found a source for Mec-

Gars yet??They may have a few oddities

like "hold open" with a rd. in the mag,

but at least they try to work!!

Sorry for any bad info I put out

there!Catch you all later!

In defense of CDNN

I ordered a bipod from them and discovered it would not fit my rifle (wrong forearm). This was definitely not their fault. They took it back without question and didn't charge me a restocking fee. Good people in my book.

Re: In defense of CDNN

Gruss Gott,Robert!

I share your esteem for CDNN!That's

why I clearly(I think!) stated the fact

that they have always been "up front"

with me,even allowing me to place COD

orders with them when I didn't want to

take the chance that a particular item

would be out of stock by the time I

could "snail mail" them a check which

would complicate matters worse by having

to clear the bank.I've never had to

avail myself to the possibility of

returning anything,because the prospect

never came into play. That's why I said

that I still recommend them for most

anything one is looking for.I merely

wanted to let it be known that these

particular mags don't like the pistols

they are supposedly designed for!I'm

trying to outfit my "Mitchell Arms"

pistols.I have 2 in serial# sequence.

These are a couple of my shooting pistols, and as such require the needed

accessories.I never said that CDNN made

the mags in question.Only that they don't seem to be true "factory" mags

and as a result don't function properly

in the "Mitchell" pistols.I by no means

have the intent to say that this was a

"scam" on the part of CDNN.It's just the

FIRST!!!! time I've ever gotten something from them that didn't fly.

Now that this is hopefully laid to

rest,I will attempt to open a territory

within whose boundaries I trust some of

you will be able to add some opinions

and technical advice.
