Can a MAUSER Model 1910 6.35mm be IMPORTED in the US under the C&R ( Pre 1946 )??? Or does it falls under the GCA of 1968 and is BANNED from importation? Pistol in 90% orig. cond. boxed with original manual. Thanks kidvett <img src="graemlins/offtopic.gif" border="0" alt="[offtopic]" /> |
Kidvett, Probably Brad simpson could answer that one for you. He has an import license. Jerry Burney

Gun is much too small to pass the size limitations brought to you by the wonderful folks from BATF under the 1968 GCA.
That is why no PPk can be imported and they had to invent the PPk/S to pass the silly test. A .32 PPk/S would not make it! The Browning 1910 was reinvented as the 1971 with a longer barrel, extended grips, and adjustable sights to pass. They made a beautiful-simple gun into a piece of &%$# ! Orv |
