Luger Book

I have a copy of Datig's THE LUGER PISTOL: Its History and Development from 1893 - 1945. (Second Printing 1956). The book is in very good to excellent condition, considering its age; the dust jacket is somewhat faded, shelf-worn and has some tearing around the edges. I seem to remember seeing some good comment about this book on the forum awhile back, so I assume it still has some value. I am considering putting it up for sale or auction on eBay, but with the multitude of books offered, I'm afraid it would be lost in the shuffle. Is there any pistol or shooting-related site on the net where its listing would attract some attention? Not exactly related to Lugers, I also have a copy of a Spanish book: LAS PISTOLAS ESPANOLAS TIPO "MAUSER." This is a large-format soft-cover, with 71 pages and many photos and illustrations describing the "Royal" - MM 31 - MM34 - "Super Azul" and the various "Astra" models. Any help will be appreciated!

Jim, You can list it with the search word luger and it will appear in the Luger section which all Luger nuts look at. Datig books typically do not bring a whole lot. You can list it in any catagory you like as long as the search word Luger is in the title.

Mauser works the same way on Ebay but I do not know what value it will brng. Jerry Burney

Take a look at Bookfinder .com, there are a lot of them for sale there going from $24.95 up to $85 for an autographed issue. Compare them with yours to get an idea of the correct value.
