antiseize?

Rick,
I use Bostick "Never Seize". I haven't been able to figure out how to attach my torque wrench to my bbl wrench. I just line up the extractor notches, and then make final adjustments by firing and moving bbl to align sight picture with point of impact of the bullet. I have noticed when installing new aftermarket bbls that the extractor notch and front sight mount are frequently not aligned correctly. Quite often, when the sights are aligned to point of impact, the extactor notch will be offset to one side somewhat. |
Guys, your wrenches will require some modification to allow the use of a torque wrench... I don't have time this week but I will try to sketch one for you next week and post it.
But what level of torque would you use? Got any specs on what torque was used to install barrels at the factory? |
