Magazine spring replacement

Can I get some directions on HOW TO: replace the spring in a luger magazine. I bought the new Wolf springs, just need your tips and expertise on how not to damage or mar the magazine during disassembly and reassembly. Is there any thing else I should do or check while I have the magazine apart? Or is there a link to a site that can tell me?

I have the crimped sheet metal type. (Not the extruded type). Some with Aluminum bottoms (G date) and others with wood bottoms (.30 commercial).

The way to replace the spring, is to get the base off, by removing the two pins that run through the body and base. I used a small clamp long enough to hold the base to the body without the pins. To get the pins out I used a punch and hammer. I have no doubt that there is a better way!!! After changing springs, I tried the hammer and punch to replace the pins. It don't work too well. I finally settled on a small C-Clamp to squeeze the pins in place. That worked like a charm. I did clean out the inside of the body while it was apart...
