1940/42 Shooter
My client wanted rust blued and strawed parts even though this variation was originally salt blued including small parts. Restored grips by Mr Hugh! SWEET!

Ted,
That sure is a remarkable transformation! Really looks good. |
Thanks Greg!!!

Great Job Thor! as always... Rust blue would be my choice as well regardless of the vintage.
|
Yes John, it looks super. It certainly is my favorite and the strawed parts and fire blue parts always set it off nicely.
|
Hi Thor, once again you have done a masterful job. Now I know what my 1940/42 is going to look like one day. By the way I noticed the new changes in your restorations. This one seems to have been upgrade from shooting blue pencils to shooting blue pens. <img border="0" alt="[hiha]" title="" src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" /> Take care buddy.

It's quite a difference, isn't it? I can't wait to finally get it back! The guys at work are tired of my talking about it and I've made a mess of my keyboard from drooling all over the pictures Thor sent me. I'm sure I'll be astounded all over again when I get it!
As I've already told you, Great work, Thor, and thanks in advance for turning my junky looking Luger into a beauty! |
BTW FS, it has been SHIPPED back to you!
|
Thanks, Thor!
I can't wait to get it... That should really help my concentration.... Or maybe it won't! |
