The word crash can mean a very severe headache to those who communicate frequently by email. May I suggest that if you communicate by email with Ted (THOR) on even a sporadic basis that you send him a short email note so that when he gets his computer beast back to square one, he will at least have most of his address book available...

WOW, it was NOT pretty!! I was sitting here typing an email and the image on the monitor went from full width, shrinking in from both sides until both sides of the image met at the middle followed by a POP and smoke coming out of the back of the monitor. Natalie went and picked up one this morning and we are back up and running. Thor

As an old TV designer, I am very much aware of the apprehension imposed by the self-destruction process of cathode ray tubes. Sometimes it can be really exciting!

However, losing a monitor is pretty minor when compared to losing a hard drive. That's my nightmare.

Glad you are back on and that the damage was minimal.
