Odd Luger Tool...?
On page 53 of C. Kenyon's book, Luger - The Multi-National Pistol; is displayed an unusual luger take down/loading tool.
Does anyone know what the cut-out on the long side of the tool was for ? (...And no, I will not buy they story that it was a beer bottle top opener...! Pete, I asked this same question about six months ago...Didn't get an answer last time. Maybe something new will surface. Jerry Burney

Guy, I doubt that this tool was made this way by the factory, but rather converted in the field, to serve a second purpose. I once had one that a former owner of an Artillery with fine tune sights, had ground down the blade into 2 pin shapes, to adjust the fine tune sights. Tom H.
