artillery stock

I just received an Artillery Luger stock, on disassembly I found the spring clip that puts the pressure on the latch to be broken. Does anyone know of or have replacement parts for Luger Artillery stocks?
Thanks, Craig

Craig, check with Tom Heller (Lugerdoc)... if he doesn't have one, I am not sure where you should go... You may end up fabricating your own... :(

Perhaps someone else will post a reply with a better answer.

BTW, is the stock an original or a reproduction?

Craig, You're in luck. I do have one original LPO8 stock lug spring in stock @$30. Please send MO or check to POB below. Tom

Thank you John and Tom, The stock appears to be an original at least that is how it was advertised. After taking it apart and looking at the parts they do look old and moderatly rusted. The wood is somewhat beat up but otherwise in good condition. I am not an expert, very far from it, but it does look original. I do not know enough about how original anything regarding Lugers should look . I guess that I will learn by doing and listening, reading and relying on you members.

Champ7fc,
Repro stocks can sometimes be difficult to differentiate from originals. I have seen originals with the serial numbers on the neck of the wood as well as on the top of the metal. I have seen counterfeit proofmarks too. The only thing you can do is look at the thing an see if it corresponds in age and wear to other originals and if the serial numbers correspond in size and shape to other originals. Then take your best shot with your judgement. Its possible to make an honest but expensive mistake. Good Luck.
