I am watching this one. But, if it has a "real" dutch magazine, they go for around $400, and an extra magazine, plus the tool, which you don't see to often.

Some comments:

This is not a dutch navy pouch, but a KNIL army pouch. Although the buttons are right, it does appear to be one that was created by the Constructie Winkel (the construction workshop that did leather repair and replacement).

So it's a pouch for the M11 1913-1928 pistol, made by the CW (N for new), in 1940 (Z mark).

It is interesting to note that the UK sellers on ebay seem to have an opinion that every thing is worth "an arm and a leg". I have managed to score some nice Luger items mainly from US sellers at often reasonable prices.For us "down under" who dont have the number of collectors you guys have, e-bay is great!
Also seems from the prior post that and from prior items that I have seen listed, often the UK sellers sometimes dont know what they are actually selling.

it is an unusual pouch. I am not going to say anything about the price. I am still reeling from the $1900 for a commercial navy holster at Rock Island. Whew! I'd have to live in California to afford these things. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

If you lived in California you wouldn't be able to afford it because everything else is more expensive here. The price of housing is unbelievable.

As for the pouch, it looks like a fellow forum member bought. I think we all know who that is.

Yes, the way Luger items are selling at astronomical prices these days, I expect that soon we will only see them at Sotheby auctions!

It has been ages since i visited the forum, i had forgoten how helpfull it is.
Lugers down under, you are right in what you say.
Anything over here (U.K.)which is remotely connected to the Third Reich will have a silly-money price tag on it, even if it is rubbish, which a lot of it is.
Very frustrating when i look at the U.S sites and their reasonable prices, but then the shipping and import tax kills it......... :-(
