'Denmark' marked magazine question

Hopefully the picture will also appear with this. I have a Luger magazine with 'Made in Denmark' stamped on the bottom of the aluminum base. The magazine body is dark grey and almost appears to be a parkerized finish as does the follower. Are these post WW2 magazines and for whom were they made? Thanks for any information. Jim

second one I have seen. I was told this was a post war mag but have no reference to consult. I have a similar mag that is marked "Japan"

I have sold many of these post WW2 Danish mags over the years and still have a couple in stock @$35 each. You will often find them without the "made in Denmark" marking on the bottom, but the bottoms all have the same casting flaws, concentric circle follower button and the parkerized tube. Probably made for the world wide commerical market.

The Danes were forced to manufacture equipment for the Nazis during WWII. I am guessing that magazines were one of the items and after the war some enterprising person used the tooling to make commercial magazines. The "Made in Denmark" stamp was added to comply with import requirements.

I have a much nicer quality magazine with polished bottom stamped "Mexico."

Frank, Don't you just love those unpolished aluminum followers in those early production triple K mags. Thank heavens 3K has come a long way since those days.

When I first saw them (the Triple K's) I was surprised they actually worked, well at least some of the time.

This one has a checkered follower button (m)

but the checkering is much coarser than on the German made mags I have. Thanks for all the information!
