My first artillery luger

Hello,

Iâ??m not sure which heading to post this under. This weekend I bought a shooter grade artillery luger(my first artillery). Itâ??s in good shape except the barrel. Along the way someone cut about 4 inches off the end and then let the bore rust. So, first Iâ??m looking for a shooter grade replacement barrel. This pistol has been refinished at least once. There are no proof marks, has Germany stamped over the chamber and the only serial number is on the barrel. However, when I took it apart to check out all the parts, it had a Russian stamped extractor. (I canâ??t type the symbols) Looking in "Lugers at Random" the only pistols that had this mark were the 1906 Russian contract. Itâ??s interesting how a Russian marked extractor got on an German commercial artillery luger. The frame is marked GESICHERT. Since the extractor does not match, I was thinking about selling it to help pay for the barrel. Itâ??s in good condition with no finish. Any ideas on what its worth.

Thanks for the replies. I have posted the 1906 Russian contract extractor with a photo in the for sale forum.
