the gunman 11-28-2004 08:31 PM

Welcome to the forum. Nice Erfurt. These are now getting a little harder to find, especially with the complete rig. The gun appears to be reblued. A quick question - what are the laws over there like on owning these weapons?

laoshi75 11-29-2004 04:34 AM

hello gunman! right ! it has been burnished and reblued a long time ago, but it has all its stamps and proofs, all parts matching except grips, mag and stock; and it is very lovely (sorry for my bad english...). what about french law ?...I have all legal autorisation of course.
thank you !

Vanier,

It is still a very nice pistol. The stock, straps and holster appear to be very nice. What is the maker and date on it?

Ron

hello Ron, thank you for answering. there are slight trace of markings inside the holster but unfortunately unreadable. please look at the two button system to close the holster (???)...strange no ?...

Ron Smith 11-29-2004 09:28 AM

Vanier,
I noticed the double stud. Does it also have belt loops on the back? Very nice!

Ron

Ron, attached a few pix again. shoulder strap is unfortunately cut, and I do not have the leather toe cover... in spite of all these problems, I think this pistol is great...

PS: the only readable marking inside the holster:
BAIII.

John Sabato 11-29-2004 10:30 AM

BAIII stands for Bavarian Third Corps.

You can get QUALITY reproduction leather parts from our forum's own master leather craftsman: Lugerholsterrepair (Jerry Burney)... Send him a Private message in the holster forum...
