Nice 1917 Arty Spotted...

Was at my local favorite gunshop today; Mike Chance's Contra Costa Collectible Firearms.

www.cccfirearms.com

They just got in a realy nice 1917 Artillery. It is at a strong 96-97% original finish, all "white" inside, all matching parts including the magazine. Serial number is 3021. Bore has sharp lands and grooves, but is a little rough and dark (but I think most Arty's have this...).

It even has an adjustible front sight; if you have that funny, little two-prong wrench thingy..The rear sight works and has all the little saw-teeth intact.

The rust blue finish is even across the gun and the front/rear grip straps are not even "thin". There is no "brownish" tint anywhere along the gun's surface.

The only little flaw it has is that typical left grip "chip" just below the thumb safety lever.

Asking price is $ 2,250.00, but "Chuck" said Mike Chance might work on price a bit. I believe this Arty will be at the Reno gun show next weekend, as well...

If I didn't have a 1917 Arty already, I think this would be mine by now... <img src="graemlins/yltype.gif" border="0" alt="[typing]" />

p.s. As before, I have no financial interest in this gun. Just trying to help others who might need a 1917 Arty...
