Fitted case for Artilleries.
Well, I liked the small case that I got for my 1900 AE that I decided to try the largest size case. I am impressed! AS you can see it accommodates the shoulder board as well as cleaning rod, and three mags. Looks like you could fit a square oil bottle as well as other items. The gun in the case is my 1914 Erfurt Artillery all-matching except the mag and board. Case is from Pacific Canvas and Leather. I think I am going to try some of their leather products.

Very interesting.
This is my case, made by Mauser in 1985. Ciao Mauro http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/LP08.jpg |
Wow, I like that one too! Are there any available in Italy or anywhere esle that you know of?

I hope you folks who are keeping nice guns in cases don't forget to use some dessicant...the resultant rusting when it is forgotten can be devastating.

Good point, although I am only using mine for showing off at gun shows. I always admired a nice cased Luger.

I don't think that the Mauser case is available because of was sold w/ pistol and accessories.
Thanks Tom for the suggestion concerning the desiccant. Ciao |
