Snaildrum magazine loader

Hi,

I bought my first Artillery Luger( DWM 1918)yesterday and now it`s time to go accessories "hunting".As a freshman on the subject there`s a thing or two I need to know before fumbling with my wallet !! I`ve been told that reproductions are made of the snaildrum magazine and therefore I assume that the same has been done with the loader for this. So,if a repro has been made how can I notice the difference?

Cheers

Hello Rino,
and welcome to the Luger Forum. In the previous topic "Found a type 1 drum" Big Norm explains a few differences between a genuine TM08 and a copy. I guess that should be interesting to better figure out this issue.
Ciao

Manion's is offering a TM08 loader, which may be a repro, starting bid is $500 plus change. They state that it is WWII issue. I used to have a good deal of faith in Manion, now I don't know.
