Even if it is very difficult to evaluate the pistol quality from a photo, according to the description the price sounds good.
Thank Harry.

Did the $3080.00 price include the 12% buyers premium??

Ken....I saw the LP.08 rig w/photo in the Military Trader magazine. They stated it sold for $3,080. I presume that includes the commission?.....Harry

I would like more information than was posted on tha website. Pictures of the stock proof marks and serial number. While the holster does look old, I would like to see the date and manufacture marks on it as well as the stitching. I would like to see more pictures of the Luger. In other words, we have scant data to work with. That is a high price for a 1917 with no matching mag and possibly a worn repro holster and/or stock. If the stock is original but not matching, then the price including the outragious buyers premium is still high. If the stock matches and holster is original, then the price is about right. Too many "if's" for me.

Hello
The mag pouch is a Persian contract one or a repro one.The barrel of the gun was put on the flap of the rod pouch,so it's very difficult to see whether it is a correct one or a Persian-
like (the pattern without discs on the sides) one.
The markings of the holster and the stock could say much more.

Its hard for me to imagine that someone would put Persian accessories on a 1917 artillery Luger that does not even have a matching magazine. The accessories would make a Persian so much more valuable. But I have seen some strange things while collecting.

Big Norm...I listed the auction link to the rig as I thought members would like to see it and the price. Unless the new owner posts better picture, the ones from the auction site are the only ones we have....Harry
