.30 Luger Early 1920s

Hello Everyone,
I am buying a all matching .30 luger DMW with orginal grips(no chips),wood bottom clip, 85-95+ finish(closer to 90+), 78xx f?(looks like suffix 1 but may be a B, same suffix)range. Bore looks good, but needs cleaning. Made in Germany on RT hand upper slide and has Gesichert on safety. Barrel and witness mark line up dead on. Anyone have a idea what I should pay?
(They are asking alittle more than $620.00)

Thank you Happy Holidays
Michael :D

The asking price sounds at or below what the gun is worth--I'd say buy it at that price if you like the gun. My DWM .30 1923 Commercial is a solid 98%, and I paid quite a bit more than $620.00 for it. It's also my best-shooting Luger (I think the .30's run better than the 9's). From what I understand, the '20 & '23 Commercial guns were produced in very great numbers--landing them at the bottom of the food chain as far as collector value. But I sure do like mine. Enjoy!

I just bought two, first one ,about 95%, little frosting on the barrel, good mag with a couple of chips on the bottom = asking $600, bought at $525.
Second one about 95%, perfect shape very little wear but, no mag = bought at $675
I liked them so I bought them, price on lugers never goes down. There is no fixed price on these, if the price seems fair and you like it then why not buy it ¿

Hello,
Thank you Doug and Daniel for your replies. I went and bought it as it looks like an all matching gun.(will take it apart when it comes in to be sure). So this will be my frist Luger that matches. Have a couple of 9mm's Lugers but always wanted a .30 Luger.

May I ask a dumb question? Does the .30 Luger use a differant clip, or are they the same for 9mm?
Merry Christmas
Michael

Same magazine as the 9mm.

MG, no such thing as a dumb question. The magazines for the 9mm and .30 Luger are the same. Congratulations on your new Luger--enjoy!
