Check out E-Ba y "FREE STORAGE"
There is a guy on E-bay trying to sell a 1921 Luger magazine/ clip with "FREE STORAGE"....on e-bay, I don't know about you guys, BUT, the "FREE STORAGE" looks alot like a 1920 commercial lugar pistol to me. How long do you think he'll get away with that? e-bay item# 2198955053 web page

Wow..!
I wonder, since it's a UK based auction - if "the storage" has been deactivated? If so - he may get away with it..???? |
The storage item is probably a deactivated or demilitarized Luger as that is the only kind allowed 'over there'. Possibly a movie prop gun. If real then all BATF inport laws apply.
|
He should state it is a deactivated, just so it doesn't get pulled.

Hi Ed,
My guess is that since it is on a UK e-Bay auction, it's probably presumed, rather then having to be "stated". |
I emailed the guy, here is the reply
Hi The magazine and the luger are cera 1921.The magazine is in good working condition,The luger it self is in good condition,it has all moving part it can be stripped down for cleaning.Am not shore how the maker is it do's have the factory mark stamped on the top,is there any think pacific you would like to now. yours steve My guess is that it is an actual Luger, too bad it can't be imported without a heap of paperwork. |
