.30 AMMO from Finland
Recieved an ad for .30 Luger ammo from Finland at a reasonable price. Question is , is it good enough to run through my beautiful 1920 Commercial?

It should be loaded to the original Parabellum specs and not downloaded like so much of the American commercial ammo currently available. Is this "new" ammo, or military surplus? If military surplus, you may wish to watch out for corrosive primers. Sieger |
Hi,
I am new on this forum, I am writing from Finland. Is it made by Lapua ? I have fire Lapua ammo in 3 different m23. None of those did not run propely. I have find out that german is best, even if it 60-70 years old. |
Hi,
I wouldn't shoot vintage German ammo, it's worth much more unshot :) |
I have shot only opened boxes.
Un-opened I save to collectors. Vintage german ammo is getting rare here. Best choice here is reloaded ammo. Working with berdan primers make little more work |
What circa date are the boxes?

Well , I ordered a box of 50 rds. for $17.97 from Sportsmans guide. Took it to the range and it worked GREAT!!! <img border="0" alt="[jumper]" title="" src="graemlins/jumper.gif" /> :D Just put in my order for 500 rounds at $159.97 thats about 32 cents a round. Thats less than half what I pay for Winchester (When it's available).

I forgot to add that when I bought my first box of 50 rds., to try them out, they sent me a $10.00 off my next purchase coupon which I used to buy the 500 rds. with taking the total down to $149.97 + shipping.
