Unusual proof markings

Could someone help me in identifying some proof markings on a 1939 Luger S/42. Serial 6619t I have included pictures of the markings. The mark under the release toggle/lever appears to be a sunburst with the letters "Kell" offsett underneath it.

The proof marks are three I have not seen before, the only one that is really clear is the last that looks like a "K" and a triangle or the letter "A".

Thanks.

Badb, I believe that the markings on your left frame rail are W.German post WW2 proof house markings and the "KA" is a date code for 1990. Similar date codes used on Mauser Parabellum pistol for domestic German sales and similar proof marks observed on Erma 22lr pistols. TH

Thanks guys for clearing this up. I'm new to this...why are these markings on a Luger manufactured in 1939?

Regards

Gavin

Gavin, then it was either refinished or at least proofed later by West Germany, probably before shipping over to your country before import.
