Where to buy? - NEW grips
I want to get some relatively inexpensive grips I can put on my luger when I take it out to shoot it. Where is a good source for some? Sarco has some walnut grips listed for $18...are those any good?
Thanks, Vern |
Hi Vern,
Foor shooting, look for a set of plastic VoPo grips (with the bulleye motif in the grip center), these are good quality, comfortable for shooting and usually dead cheap. |
Vern,
Here is a photo of the VOPO grips...you can pick them up for $ 25-45 usually...on e-Bay and from LF members from time to time... http://forums.lugerforum.com/lfupload/vopogrips.jpg Regards, Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" /> |
Vern, Most new wood repro grips come a bit oversized, so that they can be fitted to an individual PO8. Any "takeoff" grips, such as the DDR ones shown above, may be too tight or loose on your particular luger. I do have plenty of these EG grips available @$20 per set, but you may want to take your luger along when buying grips, to check for fit. TH
